In honor of the end to Black History Month, I'd like to present my great-grandfather:
Shakespeare Elder Sr.
Born August 24, 1879. Pensacola, Florida.
I didn't know him. But I did know he served in
the Calvary and that he also loved his chickens.
This picture was taken in the East End of Cincinnati. Sometime in the 1950s.
